Complete Description
This individual is responsible for specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results. Testing performed is limited to waived and moderate complexity testing only. He/she will report results of all test performed according to established procedures. In addition, this individual will participate fully in all quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards with the department as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA and other applicable agencies. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have documented training in all subspecialties in which the individual performs testing (limited to waived and moderate complexity testing only). Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is required. This position is located within St. Margaret Mercy Healthcare in Dyer, IN.
Additional Information Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
